Gabon is preparing to open a regional hub of the African Centre for Management and Executive Development (CAMPC) in Libreville in November 2026, strengthening its role in professional training across Central Africa.

Preparations for the opening were discussed during a meeting on October 28 between Gabon's Minister of Public Service and Capacity Building, Laurence Mengue Me Nzoghe, and CAMPC Resident Representative Anna Kouyaté, the Gabonese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The facility is intended to support the professional development of managers from both the public and private sectors across Central Africa. However, details of its training programs, participating countries and operational arrangements have not yet been announced.

The minister welcomed the choice of Gabon as the host country, describing the initiative as consistent with national priorities focused on human capital development and social justice.

The discussions also covered CAMPC's 40th ordinary Board of Directors session, scheduled for December 10 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. The institution is also preparing to award diplomas to its 45th graduating cohort and celebrate its 50th anniversary on December 11.

The regional hub is expected to strengthen access to management training and professional development across Central Africa. Its actual scope and regional participation will become clearer once further operational details are announced.
